Scheifele Sets Jets Record, Golden Knights Welcome marner in Action-Packed NHL Night
The Winnipeg Jets celebrated a historic night as forward Mark Scheifele reached a monumental milestone, becoming the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 813 career NHL points. Scheifele achieved this feat by scoring for the fourth consecutive game, solidifying his place in Jets’ lore.
Elsewhere,the Vegas Golden Knights saw a new face in their lineup as Mitch Marner debuted,contributing to a dominant performance. Captain Mark Stone led the charge with a stellar showing,netting two goals and adding two assists for a four-point night – his first time reaching that mark this season and ninth of his NHL career.
The Seattle Kraken secured a hard-fought victory against the Toronto Maple leafs. A dynamic play orchestrated by defenseman Mahura, who skated the length of the ice and finished with a powerful shot past Anthony Stolarz, proved to be the game-winner. It marked Mahura’s first goal of the 2025-26 season. The Kraken also saw goals from Shane Wright (on a power play in the first period), Jani Nyman, and Vince Dunn.Goalkeeper Joey Daccord was crucial in the win, stopping 26 shots.
Toronto battled back, tying the game 3-3 in the third period thanks to a power play goal. rounding out the night’s top performers, Buffalo Sabres goaltender Alex Lyon delivered a shutout performance against his former team, the Florida Panthers. Lyon, inspired by the matchup, recorded 32 saves, securing the fifth shutout of his career, starting with 12 saves in the first period.
