LAS VEGAS – Illinois Governor JB Pritzker revealed a considerable casino win of $1.4 million in his 2024 tax returns, published Wednesday, October 15, according to the chicago Sun-Times. The winnings, amassed playing blackjack in Las vegas, represent a significant boost to the already substantial income of the billionaire governor.
Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune and ranked 382nd on Forbes‘ list of the 400 wealthiest Americans, experienced a marked increase in overall income, reporting $10.7 million in 2024 compared to $2.8 million in 2023.This windfall comes as Pritzker considers a run for a third term in 2026 and highlights the financial resources at his disposal,perhaps influencing the political landscape.
