Nagoya‘s New Retail Hub to Open Next Summer
NAGOYA, Oct 15 (News On Japan) - A new commercial complex named “Haera” will anchor the Landmark Nagoya Sakae skyscraper, slated to open in Sakae, nagoya, in early summer next year. The complex, spanning the second basement floor to the fourth floor above ground within the 41-story building at the intersection of Hisaya Odori and Otsu-dori, aims to become a central hub for shopping and culture in the city.
Front Retailing and its partners announced the name, which combines the Japanese word “sakaeru” (to flourish) with the English word “era,” reflecting a vision for the site to inject new energy and dynamism into Nagoya. Approximately 65 stores are planned for the retail zone, including flagship boutiques of high-end brands, fashion retailers, and a variety of restaurants.
Parco and Daimaru Matsuzakaya will manage tenant recruitment and facility operations. Further details regarding specific tenants will be released in the spring. The Landmark Nagoya Sakae also includes a hotel and a cinema, encompassing 41 floors above ground and four basement levels.
