Giant Bicycles Unveils New Reign Advanced E+ Line,boasting 160km Range & Carbon Fiber Frames
TAICHUNG,TAIWAN – Giant,the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer,today launched its updated Reign Advanced E+ line of electric mountain bikes,featuring a powerful 800W SyncDrive Pro 3 motor and a battery capable of delivering up to 160 kilometers of range. The new models, available in E+ 1 and E+ 0 trims, represent a notable leap forward in e-mountain bike technology, targeting experienced riders seeking high performance and extended adventures.
The growing popularity of e-mountain bikes is reshaping the cycling landscape, offering accessibility to challenging terrain and longer rides for a wider range of fitness levels. Giant’s new Reign Advanced E+ bikes aim to capitalize on this trend with a focus on lightweight construction,advanced suspension,and robust power delivery. The bikes’ extended range and powerful motor are designed to tackle demanding trails and provide riders with confidence and control.
Both the reign Advanced E+ 1 and E+ 0 feature an advanced carbon fiber frame and utilize the EnergyPak 560 Wh battery, with an optional 280 wh Range Extender available for even greater distances. The E+ 1, priced at 8,299 euros, is equipped with a SRAM Eagle 90 12-speed transmission and TRP DH-R EVO 4-piston brakes, alongside a Fox 38 Performance Elite 180mm fork and Fox Float X Performance 170mm rear shock.
Stepping up to the E+ 0, retailing for 10,999 euros, delivers premium components including a SRAM XX AXS Eagle transmission, Sram Maven Ultimate 4-piston brakes, a Fox 38 Factory 180mm fork, a Fox Float X2 Factory 170mm rear shock, and Giant TRX Carbon wheels with a Fox Transfer Factory dropper post.
