D4vd Reportedly Transferred Texas Homes To Mother Weeks Before Body Found in Vehicle
Rapper d4vd reportedly transferred ownership of two Texas properties to his mother just weeks before authorities discovered a deceased woman in his vehicle. The transactions, occurring on September 11, 2024, involve residences in Houston and Richmond, Texas, raising questions amid an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
The property transfers, frist reported by The U.S. Sun, coincide with a period of heightened scrutiny for the 19-year-old artist, whose legal name is David Brandon Burke. While authorities have stated there is currently no evidence of criminal culpability beyond the concealment of the body, the timing of the transfers adds another layer to the unfolding situation. The investigation centers on how and why the body was found in d4vd’s vehicle, and whether any actions taken afterward constituted a crime.
As previously reported by Rap-Up, d4vd is cooperating with law enforcement officials, though he has not publicly commented on the case. The identity of the deceased woman remains unconfirmed as of October 13, 2024.
The artist also postponed the release of the deluxe edition of his album, WITHERED, originally scheduled for September 19, 2024. Kali Uchis has since successfully requested the removal of her collaboration with d4vd, “Crashing,” from streaming services.
The harris County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case. No arrests have been made.
