Trump’s Health: Vaccine Received Amid Concerns Over White House Report

by Dr. Michael Lee – Health Editor

Trump Received Covid‌ Vaccine adn Flu Shot During second Physical of the ‍Year

WASHINGTON – Former⁢ President Donald‍ Trump received a dose of the updated Covid-19 vaccine ‌and a flu shot during a physical examination earlier this year, CNN has learned. The‍ disclosure comes‌ as health officials urge Americans to get vaccinated against both viruses ahead of the fall and winter seasons.

Trump underwent⁣ the physical in June,‌ his second of the year, and the findings were reviewed ‍by Dr.⁣ Bruce Dubinsky, his cardiologist, and Dr. Brian Monahan, the‌ attending physician⁤ to Congress. While details of the physical have ‍been previously reported, the administration of the ‍vaccines had not been disclosed until now. this details adds to the public record ‍regarding Trump’s health as he campaigns for a return to the white House.

“It is indeed more meaningful right now to understand basic testing to try ⁤to understand the president’s cardiovascular health,” said ‌Dr. Reiner, commenting on the focus ⁢on metrics like heart age. “What is his ejection⁤ fraction? Does his heart contract normally? What is his blood pressure? What is his cholesterol? Is there any⁤ evidence of a heart‍ attack? Does he have atrial fibrillation? Explain to us why he has these severe bruises on his hands, which typically are caused by blood thinners. Does he take a blood thinner? These are all, clinically, very meaningful questions, much more meaningful than some⁣ AI-derived heart age.”

Trump, one of ‍the oldest presidents ⁣in US history, has faced‍ scrutiny over regular ⁣bruising on his right hand, which ⁤he has at times appeared to cover up with heavy ‌makeup. The ⁤White house physician has previously cited “frequent handshaking” and⁤ aspirin use as the cause.

The White House disclosed⁣ over the summer that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common and manageable condition in older people ⁢that sparked speculation after ‍photos showed swelling in⁢ his legs.
