Faculty Spotlight: Dr. David N. Osser – Championing Algorithm-Based Care
For three decades, Dr. David N. Osser, M.D., Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and affiliated with the VA Boston healthcare System, has been passionately teaching psychopharmacology at Harvard South Shore. His dedication extends beyond the classroom, as he serves as the General Editor of the highly influential Psychopharmacology Algorithm Project at the Harvard South Shore Residency Training Program.
This project, accessible at www.psychopharm.mobi, is dedicated to developing and disseminating evidence-based algorithms for the treatment of various psychiatric conditions. To date, fourteen algorithms have been published in peer-reviewed journals, a testament to the collaborative spirit of the program and the contributions of numerous residents and former residents.
