Tori Amos to Bring New Album ‘In Times of Dragons’ to Riga This May
Riga,Latvia – Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Tori Amos will perform at the Xiaomi Arena amphitheater in Riga on May 28th as part of a larger European tour,bringing her latest studio album,”In Times of Dragons,” to Latvian audiences.
Amos, a prominent figure in music for over 35 years, has released 17 studio albums to date, beginning with her debut “Little Earthquakes” in 1992. Her most recent release, “The Music of Tori and The Muses,” arrived in february of this year. A new major studio work, “In Times of Dragons,” is slated for release on October 7th.The album is described as continuing Amos’ tradition of bold symbolism, offering “a resistance and awakening trip.”
“This album is a metaphorical story of a democracy struggle over Tyranny, reflecting the current situation in which democracy deliberately destroys ‘dictators believing lizard demons’ that usurps America,” Amos stated.
Known for her emotionally charged songs and captivating piano performances, Amos has received eight Grammy nominations and sold over 12 million albums throughout her career. She has been a celebrated songwriter and performer, consistently accompanying herself on piano since the 1990s.
Amos’ music frequently explores important themes including self-awareness, religion, politics, feminism, and sexuality.
