Riga, Latvia⁣ – The final stage of the ⁣Latvian cup in autosprint⁣ concluded with a series of decisive​ victories⁢ adn closely contested finishes,⁤ marking the culmination of the competition‍ season.Drivers ⁢battled for top honors across multiple ‌classes at the CVS track, delivering a day‍ of high-speed action and notable performances.

The event saw champions crowned and podium positions fiercely contested, solidifying the standing of key drivers within the Latvian autosprint​ community. The Latvian Cup ⁤serves ​as a crucial platform ‌for both ‍established racers and emerging talents, fostering ⁤competitive driving and technical⁤ expertise. Results from this ‌stage will determine⁢ final season standings and influence ⁢driver rankings heading ‍into ⁢future ‍competitions.

In the⁤ primary competition,Māris Krūmiņš (Honda Civic) and Mārtiņš⁤ Bember⁢ (Honda Civic) tied⁤ on points,with Bember securing overall victory due to a⁤ superior performance in the third race. Andris Aleksejevs (Honda Civic) rounded out the‍ top three.

Oscar Pugovich (Honda Civic) dominated⁤ the⁣ 2000 class, achieving‌ a perfect score. Robert Berzins (Citroen C2) and Martins Bember (VW‌ Golf MK4)⁢ followed, claiming‌ second and third place respectively.

Gatis Otomer (BMW) emerged victorious in‍ the RWD ‍class, besting Patrick ‍Gromov (BMW), the youngest competitor in the class, with Emil‌ Skuja (BMW) taking third. Otomer ⁣also secured a​ win in the RWD Open class, finishing ahead of emil Skuja (BMW) by a mere five points, ​while Edward Egle (BMW⁤ 328) secured third.

Oscar Pugovich (Honda Civic) continued‌ his winning streak ‌in the FWD Open class, again achieving maximum points. Raivo Ozoliņš (Honda Civic) and Uldis Baumanis (VW Golf⁤ MK2)​ engaged in a tight ⁤battle for second and third, with Ozoliņš ultimately prevailing.

The all-wheel ‌drive classes ⁤were swept by Subaru drivers.⁤ Artis vicinskis (Subaru)⁢ won both the 4WD and 4WD Open classes, winning every run. Atis Priedoliņš (subaru Impreza) consistently finished ⁣second in both classes,and Janis Lazdiņš (Subaru Impreza) secured third place in‌ each.

Andris Vanags (Audi 80 quattro) triumphed in the Audi ⁤Quattro‍ class,​ followed by Ainis Mushperts ‌(Audi 80 quattro) and Sandis Indriksons (Audi ⁤A4).

Organizers ⁣Eve Motorsports extended gratitude to Eric ‍Viksn and Rudolf⁢ Graholsky, owner of the CVS track, ⁣for their support in preparing the venue for the event. The race was reported by Dace ⁤Janova.
