Storm Amy Disrupts Travel: Flights⁢ cancelled and⁢ Delayed at Manchester Airport

Ryanair flights have ‌been notably affected.⁣ A flight from Bristol was forced to return‍ to‌ its origin around 5pm. later, at approximately ⁤8:30pm, a ryanair flight from Pisa to Glasgow‍ was diverted to Manchester after two unsuccessful landing attempts at Prestwick airport.

We have been ‍sat on one of your planes⁤ for over 5 1/2hrs after being​ delayed for an hour and now diverted to Manchester after 2 attempts of landing at Dublin.” Iain ​Darby ⁤shared: “7 hours after boarding ⁤and 2 and a half hours after diverting back to land in Manchester the flight is, now, officially cancelled!”

Manchester Airport issued⁤ a ‌statement​ earlier today urging passengers⁣ to “take extra care” when travelling ⁢to the airport, advising them to check local travel updates before departing. While the airport remains operational, the‍ severe weather forecast prompted ‍the advisory.
