Kacper Urbański: Legia Focused on Conference League Success & Domination
Legia Warsaw midfielder kacper Urbański emphasized the club’s ambition to make a deep run in the UEFA Europa Conference League, stating, “We want to go as far as possible, and our goal is to win the whole competition.” He affirmed a consistent approach to readiness, nonetheless of the competition: ”I approach each match the same – no matter if its Ekstraklasa, the Polish Cup or the Conference League. I always prepare in the same way,with maximum focus.”
Ahead of Legia’s match against Samsunspor, Urbański expressed his readiness, deferring questions about his starting position to the coach but confirming he is prepared to give “110 percent.” He highlighted his versatility, noting he can play centrally or on the wing, and will fulfill whatever role the coach assigns.
Urbański acknowledged a careful integration into the team, stating the coaching staff is managing his playing time to ensure a gradual acclimatization. “Now I feel really good, this stage is behind me and I can say that I am one hundred percent ready to play – from the first to the last minute,” he said.
The young midfielder revealed he followed Legia’s European performances while playing in Italy, recalling their victory against Real Betis last season. He stressed the team’s intent to control matches and secure a win at Łazienkowska Stadium against Samsunspor, emphasizing, “we want to dominate and do everything so that three points stay at Łazienkowska.”
Urbański also noted Samsunspor’s quality, describing them as a strong Turkish league side – finishing third last season and currently sixth – who favor a technical, possession-based style of play.
