Former WWE Superstar Cedric Alexander Officially Signs with TNA Wrestling
Nashville, TN – Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander has officially signed a contract with TNA Wrestling, according to a report from FightfulSelect.com. The signing solidifies Alexander’s status as a prominent free agent in professional wrestling.
Alexander debuted with TNA in july and was promptly integrated into the X-Division storyline. While he had been appearing regularly on TNA programming,his contractual status remained unconfirmed until now. His WWE contract expired in february 2025.
The news comes after speculation linking Alexander to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), especially a potential reunion with his former “Hurt Business” stablemates. Though, the fightful report confirms his commitment to TNA, though the terms of the contract length were not disclosed.
Alexander recently challenged Leon slater for the TNA X-Division Championship at the TNA Victory road special event on September 26, but was unsuccessful. His next steps remain unannounced, with no match currently scheduled for TNA’s Bound For Glory event.
