Slot also spoke candidly about the emotional challenge of continuing professional ‍duties amidst the profound grief. ⁢”The way the fans conducted themselves ‍after that tragedy, ‍how⁤ many flowers there were, all the⁢ memorials, I can almost get emotional thinking about it. It’s astonishing what our fans have done and our players as well, the way they‌ have conducted themselves in and around the funeral.”

He continued, reflecting‍ on‍ the impact on Jota’s family: “And then we have to train again. There are moments where I feel:⁣ ‘What must his wife and his children feel now?’ It sounds so hard but our life continues. The club has not released ⁢specific ⁣details regarding the financial arrangements, but the commitment from FSG provides a significant measure of support for ⁢Cardoso and their children during an incredibly difficult time.
