India vs Bangladesh Highlights, Asia Cup 2025: IND Win By 41 Runs, Secure Place In Final
Colombo – India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in a Super 4s match of the Asia Cup 2025 on Wednesday, securing their place in the tournament final.A dominant bowling performance,spearheaded by Kuldeep Yadav,restricted Bangladesh to 127 all out in 19.3 overs while defending a total of 168/6.
Abhishek Sharma’s explosive 75 off 37 balls laid the foundation for India’s innings, while Kuldeep Yadav’s notable spell of 3/18 proved crucial in dismantling the Bangladesh batting lineup. The win eliminates Sri Lanka from contention, setting up a decisive clash between Pakistan and Bangladesh on Thursday to determine the second finalist.
Earlier,India posted 168 for six,built around a 77-run opening partnership between Abhishek and Shubman Gill (29). However, the middle order struggled to capitalize on the strong start. Saif Hassan top-scored for Bangladesh with 69 off 51 balls,but lacked support from the rest of the batting order.
Kuldeep was ably supported by Varun Chakaravarthy (2/29) and Axar Patel (1/37) with the ball.
