AT&T Data Breach Settlement: millions Eligible for Payouts - Deadline November 18,2025
Customers potentially impacted by AT&T data breaches in March and July 2024 may be eligible for a portion of a settlement fund,with payouts potentially reaching up to $7,500 for those affected by both incidents. The deadline to file a claim is Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
Who is Eligible?
Individuals who had their data compromised in either the March 2024 or July 2024 breaches are potentially eligible. The settlement covers those whose Social Security numbers or othre personal data were exposed.
There are three tiers of cash payments available:
* Tier 1 Cash payment (March breach): For members whose Social Security Number was included in the March incident. This tier pays five times the amount of a Tier 2 Cash Payment.
* Tier 2 Cash Payment (March breach): For members who had other data elements exposed in the March incident,but not their Social Security Number.
* Tier 3 Cash Payment (July breach): An choice to a documented loss claim,this payment is a pro rata share of the funds remaining after settlement management costs,attorney’s fees,costs,and service awards are paid. The exact amount will depend on the number of valid claims received.
Those impacted by the March 2024 incident can claim up to $5,000 with documented losses, while the July 2024 breach could net up to $2,500.
How to File a Claim:
Claims can be filed online at https://www.telecomdatasettlement.com/. Click “submit claim” and provide either a class member ID, email address, AT&T account number, or full name.Additional documentation will be required to complete the claim.
