Central Highlands Hospital Offers Health Checks to 255 Patients Following Incorrect Lithotripsy Prescriptions
DAK LAK – The Central Highlands General Hospital is inviting 255 patients who were inappropriately prescribed lithotripsy treatment to undergo complete health examinations, hospital officials announced September 21. The examinations aim to identify any early-stage urinary system issues and ensure appropriate monitoring and care.
According to the hospital,kidney and urology specialists from other medical facilities will assist in the examinations and assessments. The health checks will be conducted at the hospital’s inquiry department (1st floor, building A) from September 24 to october 3.
All investigation and paraclinic costs related to the urinary system, as well as associated services, will be covered by the hospital.
Hospital leadership stated that investigations are expected to begin September 24,following a registration check on September 22 to coordinate with participating hospitals.
The Ministry of Health of DAK LAK persistent the health investigation was a necessary measure to safeguard patient rights and assess potential complications arising from the incorrect treatment.
