Haval H6 HEV Shatters Endurance Record in Live-Streamed Challenge
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – A groundbreaking campaign by MBCS, the creative content practice under IPG Mediabrands, and GWM Malaysia has demonstrated the Haval H6 HEV’s extraordinary fuel efficiency in a dramatic, real-time test. The Haval H6 HEV successfully traveled an astonishing 1,013 kilometers on a single 61-liter tank of fuel, establishing itself as a leader in HEV endurance within its class.
the “Haval H6 HEV Fuel Endurance Ultimate Challenge” unfolded over 24+ hours on the Temiang-Pantai Highway in Negeri Sembilan, with every moment of the continuous drive captured, edited, and streamed live to the public.
“We wanted to prove a product truth in the most direct way possible,” explained Mun Tuck Wai, Executive Creative Director of MBCS. “Fuel efficiency figures can feel like esoteric specs on a page, so rather of saying it, we showed it. This campaign is proof that the H6 outlasts even its own advertising.The team was excited to be able to demonstrate this perfect blend of creativity and reality in real-time.”
The feat wasn’t without its challenges. while the Haval H6 HEV’s performance proved unwavering, the extended duration tested the limits of the human crew. “Ironically, the biggest challenge wasn’t the car, whose performance was never in question, but rather, this tested the stamina of the stunt drivers and production crew,” mun added. “Running non-stop for 24 hours through heat, rain, and changing road conditions pushed the limits of endurance for all involved and truly proved the Haval H6 HEV as unstoppable.”
