Santiago, Chile – Presidential candidate Jeannette Jara of the Unit pact met with Álvaro Henríquez, frontman of the iconic Chilean band Los Tres, at the renowned Yein Fonda on wednesday night, September 17th, marking a notable moment during the start of national holidays. The meeting,captured in photographs shared on social media,signals a potential boost for Jara’s campaign as she seeks the nation’s highest office.
The Yein Fonda, a cultural institution with a history of hosting political figures – including former President Michelle Bachelet during her first campaign – provided a vibrant backdrop for the encounter. Henríquez, who recently recorded a new album with Los Tres at Abbey Road Studios in London, extended an invitation to Jara, expressing his support with a post stating, “An illustrious visit, I hope it is the next president. Los Tres are scheduled to perform at the Yein fonda this Thursday, September 18th, and Saturday, September 20th.
