Madrid, Spain – The RTVE Orchestra and Chorus commemorated the fourth anniversary of the volcanic eruption on La Palma with a special performance honoring those impacted by the disaster. Led by director borja Ojeda, the interpretations served as a tribute to the resilience of the island’s residents and their ongoing struggle in the face of the Earth’s devastation.
The initiative builds upon RTVE’s existing commitment to the reconstruction of La Palma, which began on December 3, 2021, with a solidarity concert at the Theater Monumental directed by Ignacio García Vidal. Proceeds from that concert were fully allocated to aid those affected by the eruption.
