Guaymas Celebrates 215 Years of⁤ Mexican Independence ⁣with Fervor and Festivities

Guaymas, Sonora⁣ – September 16, 2025 – ⁤The city of Guaymas erupted in patriotic party last night as residents and visitors gathered to commemorate the 215th anniversary ⁢of mexico’s Cry of Independence. Led by mayor Dr. Karla⁤ Córdova González, the festivities unfolded before ⁤a crowd of hundreds assembled in front of ⁤the Municipal Palace.

The⁣ evening began with a formal procession ‍featuring the flag escort and‌ war band⁢ of the Second Naval Region, marching from the Plaza de los Tres Presidents‌ to the Municipal Palace to​ honor the national ​flag. Municipal⁢ trustee Celestino Sarabia Tautimez then presented the flag to Mayor Córdova González, who led ⁣the crowd in a rousing ‍rendition of the⁤ Mexican national anthem. secretary of the City Council, herman García Luna, followed with ​a reading of the Act of Independence, recounting the historic call ​to arms.
