Le pen Rally in Bordeaux Draws 6,000, Predicts Goverment Collapse
Bordeaux, France – September 14, 2025 – Marine Le Pen, president of the National Rally (RN), galvanized a crowd of nearly 6,000 supporters in Bordeaux today, predicting the imminent fall of Armed Forces minister Sébastien Lecornu and promising a brighter future for France centered on curbing immigration. The rally, held at the Palais 2 l’Atlantique, showcased the RN’s growing strength in the New Aquitaine region, a former agricultural heartland witnessing a surge in far-right electoral gains.
Stéphane Lupano,a former business manager and recent RN convert, exemplified the shifting political landscape. He recounted shedding lingering reservations following the January death of Jean-Marie Le Pen, stating, “We are RN now. We tell our neighbors not to have a trembling hand in the voting booth.” Lupano, now employed at a local factory, described the challenges facing French workers, citing high employee turnover and reliance on seasonal labor from countries like Romania. “But it’s okay, thay leave afterwards,” he added.
The rally’s attendees, largely described as “rooted” French citizens of all ages, voiced strong support for the RN’s anti-immigration platform. “Anyway, look at the color of the people who come here,” lupano observed, “We are all here for one thing: immigration is enough.”
The event underscores a strategic push by RN officials into previously overlooked areas of New Aquitaine, mirroring a broader trend of electoral success in traditionally working-class and rural communities. The Palais 2 l’Atlantique, formerly a mission land until 2010, now serves as a key battleground in the RN’s quest for power.
