Korea Circle Partners Marks 10th Anniversary with Disability Awareness Training, Championed by Chairman Cho Hyun-beom’s⁤ ‘Win-Win’ Vision

[미디어펜=김연지 기자] ⁢ korea Circle Partners, a‌ subsidiary of Korea & Company group, recently conducted experiential training for 50 employees of the Korea Employment⁢ Agency for the disabled, aiming to foster greater understanding ⁢and acceptance of individuals with disabilities. The program, dubbed ‘On (ON) Court,’ combined lectures with hands-on wheelchair badminton, allowing participants to directly experience the challenges and triumphs of adaptive sports.

The initiative stems from a disabled⁣ badminton advancement ⁤and employment awareness ‌agreement ⁤signed at the group level last year and underscores Chairman Cho Hyun-beom’s long-held “win-win” philosophy. Participants engaged in one-on-one rallies, played alongside disabled athletes, and gained firsthand insight into the disabled sports community-expanding upon traditional, theoretical disability awareness education. The⁢ training also aligns with Korea & Company Group’s sponsorship ⁤of the National Badminton League.

“This experience-type education has been able to understand and sympathize with the meaning of the employment ⁣of the disabled more deeply,” a group official stated.

This‍ year ⁤marks the 10th anniversary of Korea Circle Partners, ⁣established in 2015 as a pioneering social enterprise within the⁣ domestic tire industry. The company currently employs approximately 160 individuals, both with‍ and without disabilities, across five business ‌categories: laundry, bakery, cafes, car ‌washes, and office management.
