Kevin Federline seemingly brushed off a recent dig from his ex-wife Britney Spears’ former husband, Sam Asghari, who sarcastically suggested Federline write a book on “how to be a professional father.” The exchange occurred after Federline announced plans to release a memoir detailing his life, career, and relationship with Spears, to whom he was married from 2004 to 2007.
The upcoming memoir promises to shed light on Federline’s experiences navigating a tumultuous marriage and the ensuing media scrutiny, portraying him as a father fighting for his children amidst a “fractured family” and “fallout of fame.” asghari’s comment came in response to a social media post about the book, and was interpreted as a jab at Federline’s public image and role in the lives of Spears’ sons, Sean Preston, almost 20, and Jayden James, who turns 19 today.
Federline’s memoir will cover his working-class childhood, his career as a dancer, and his relationship with Spears. A description of the book states it will reveal the story of a man “reduced to a caricature in a world that barely knew him.”
Federline shares four children total: Sean Preston and Jayden James with Spears,Kori Madison Federline,23,and Kaleb Michael Jackson Federline,21,with ex-fiancée Shar Jackson,and daughters Jordan Kay Federline,14,and peyton Marie Federline,11,with current wife Victoria Prince. The Federline family, including Spears’ sons, moved from California to Hawaii in 2023.
Spears was married to Asghari from 2022 to 2024, and their divorce was finalized in May 2024.
