MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Board of Criminology announced today the results of the Licensure Examination for Criminologists administered in August 2025, with 25,410 examinees successfully passing the exam. The results were released within a swift twenty-six (26) working days following the last day of testing.
The examination was conducted across 29 testing centers nationwide. While the vast majority of candidates passed,the Board noted that results for three (3) examinees are currently withheld pending investigation into potential violations of examination rules and regulations. Additionally, results for two (2) examinees are withheld pending document submission, and five (5) are under further verification.
The members of the Board overseeing the examination were Hon. Ramil G. Gabao (Chairman), Hon. Lani T.Palmones, and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz (Members). Successful examinees can begin the online registration process for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration starting October 28,2025,via www.prc.gov.ph. Required documents include a downloaded Oath Form, notice of admission, two passport-sized photos, documentary stamps, and a brown envelope.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) emphasizes that successful examinees must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals. Details regarding the oathtaking ceremonies for the new professionals will be announced at a later date.
