MACON, Ga. – Authorities have confirmed the safe return of Anthony Billings, a 60-year-old Macon man who was reported missing Thursday morning. the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office announced Billings has been located adn is no longer considered missing.
Billings was last seen Wednesday around 1:00 p.m.in the 3500 block of Houston Avenue, prompting a search initiated after family members filed a missing person report just before 10:00 a.m. the following day. The case drew concern due to Billings’ pre-existing health conditions and the fact that he did not have his medication wiht him.
Deputies described Billings as approximately 5’7″ tall and weighing 150 pounds. he was last observed wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, white shoes, and a baseball cap. A distinctive feature is an eye patch worn over his right eye.
