U.S.Marshals Capture Detroit Murder Suspect in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man wanted in Detroit, Michigan, on charges of first-degree murder and related weapons offenses was arrested in Nashville this week by the U.S. Marshals Service Middle Tennessee Fugitive Task Force. The arrest marks a significant growth in a case originating in Wayne County, Michigan, and underscores the reach of federal law enforcement in pursuing violent crime suspects across state lines.

Dajon Marcel Graham, 32, was taken into custody at a business on Smith Springs road in Nashville without incident. An arrest warrant for Graham was issued on August 11, 2025, after authorities steadfast he had relocated to the Nashville area. The Eastern District of Michigan requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service to locate and apprehend Graham, highlighting the collaborative nature of fugitive investigations.

According to officials, Graham is currently being held at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office jail as a fugitive from justice, awaiting extradition to Michigan to face the pending murder and weapons charges. the U.S. Marshals Service routinely assists state and local agencies in tracking down and arresting fugitives, ensuring those accused of serious crimes are brought to justice.
