Grosseto hospital Emergency Room to Undergo Flooring Renovation
The emergency room of the Misericordia hospital in Grosseto will undergo essential flooring renovations beginning September 23rd, according to the local Healthcare Company. The project aims to modernize, improve functionality, and enhance safety within the area dedicated to the care of acute and sub-acute patients.
the work will be completed in two phases. The first phase will see the renewal of most of the flooring, excluding the shock room and isolation rooms for infected patients. The second phase will address the remaining areas, completing the entire department’s flooring replacement.
While the renovations are underway, the emergency room’s space will be temporarily reduced. However, hospital officials assure the public that activity will continue uninterrupted, with minimal disruption to patient care.
“The intervention involves the removal of the existing flooring, the restoration of the background and the laying of a new PVC surface with rounded connection to the walls,” they explained, noting this design choice will improve hygiene and safety within the health surroundings.
