FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – The Artists Collective is now accepting registration for its fall dance and drama classes, offering instruction for students ages 8-16. The program emphasizes foundational skills and movements, body alignment, strength, flexibility, and coordination, alongside performance and stage etiquette.
Class Schedule & Fees:
Foundational Skills & Movements: saturdays, 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM, $450
Praise Dance (ages 8-16): Tuesdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, $450. This workshop explores inspirational and praise dance utilizing ballet and modern dance techniques,sign language,gestures,and props.
Drama (ages 8-16): Thursdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, $450. Auditions are required for participation. the class focuses on theatrical expression, improvisation, diction, voice projection, and facial expressions.
Ballet II (ages 9-16): Tuesdays, 5:00 PM – 5:50 PM, $450. This beginner-level class covers body stance, foot and arm positions, alignment, and basic terminology. Placement is by instructor recommendation.
Tap/Jazz (ages 9-16): Saturdays, 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM, $450. This combination class includes African dance, modern dance, tap, and jazz, with a focus on stretching, toning, processionals, and choreography. Teen Contemporary (ages 12-16): Wednesdays, 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM, $450. This class introduces modern dance styles and explores the artistic and cultural influences behind them, concentrating on body mechanics and choreography for advanced students.
