‘Jujutsu Kaisen‘ Continues with New Manga, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo‘
The world of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is expanding as a sequel manga, titled ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo,’ has launched in Shonen jump. This confirms the continuation of the story following the conclusion of the original series.
Set decades after the events of the original, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo’ centers on the grandchildren of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin. The new story introduces fresh characters and promises to explore unresolved elements from the initial run, appealing to fans who felt the original ending was rushed.
According to the official synopsis, the narrative jumps to 2086, 68 years after the Culling Game. It introduces a new threat: the Simurians, an alien race arriving on Earth. The fate of the world now rests on the shoulders of Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, two new jujutsu sorcerers. The premise poses the question: “Hechiceros de jujutsu y alienígenas, ¿qué caos surgirá de este encuentro?” (“Jujutsu sorcerers and aliens, what chaos will arise from this encounter?”).
