canton-Potsdam Hospital Hiring Unit Clerk for Med-Surg 2
CANTON, NY – Rochester Regional Health is currently seeking a part-time Unit clerk to join the team at Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s med-Surg 2 department. The 15-hour-per-week position offers 8-hour shifts, scheduled on a every-other-weekend basis from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Unit Clerk will provide essential administrative support to the nursing unit under the direction of the Director/Manager or thier delegate. Responsibilities include a range of clerical and receptionist duties, as well as maintaining the organization of the unit’s physical environment.
Key duties include updating and organizing patient information, managing patient records, answering and directing phone calls, stocking supplies, and processing faxes and photocopies. The role also involves recording physician orders, dietary needs, and medication information on patient charts, and also assisting visitors and providing support to nurses and other healthcare providers.
the position requires sedentary work, wiht an exertion force of up to 10 pounds occasionally. The pay range for the position is $18.09 to $26.26 per hour,with final compensation steadfast by factors including experience,qualifications,and internal equity.
