AATCC Announces details for 2025 & 2026 Coloration Conferences, Calls for Submissions
The american Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) has released updates regarding its upcoming Coloration Conferences, offering opportunities for both industry professionals and students to participate and share research.
The 2025 Printing conference will be held in Greenville, SC, and will feature presentations on a range of topics including smart textile inks, digital and rotary-screen printing costs, and the role of AI and automation in textile manufacturing. Confirmed speakers include Samantha Shintay (Hohenstein), Traci Lamar & Lisa Chapman (North Carolina State University), Devon Murrie (Living Ink Technologies), johnny Shell (Keypoint Intelligence), and Ron Gilboa (FUJIFILM Dimatix), alongside Saira Faisal (NED University of Engineering & Technology). the conference will also include panel discussions focused on coloration and the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) market, as well as the AATCC Student Innovation Showcase – a poster presentation of research by student members.AATCC is currently accepting poster abstracts from undergraduate and graduate students for the 2025 Printing Conference. Projects in any stage of completion – capstone,self-reliant study,thesis,or dissertation – are welcome. The deadline for abstract submission is September 19, 2025, via the form available at https://www.aatcc.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Call-for-Posters-Abstract-Form-Printing-2025-fillable-REVISED.pdf. prizes will be awarded to top entries. AATCC members receive discounted registration, and student members can attend at no cost. Early registration rates are available through october 22, 2025.Looking ahead, AATCC is also soliciting abstracts for the 2026 Coloration Conference, scheduled for February 24-25, 2026, at the StateView Hotel in Raleigh, NC. The abstract submission deadline is September 12, 2025.Abstracts of 125 words or less should be submitted to Matt Brennan. Accepted presenters will receive complimentary conference registration and are asked to provide their full text or PowerPoint presentation by February 2, 2026.
Students are also invited to submit poster abstracts for the 2026 Coloration Conference. The deadline for student poster submissions is October 27, 2025, and forms can be found at https://www.aatcc.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Call-for-Student-Posters-2026-coloration-REVISED-fillable.pdf.
