Ronceverte & Clifton Church Worship Service – Greenbrier River

Ronceverte, WV – Two Greenbrier County ​churches are⁢ joining forces‌ this Sunday ​for a unique worship experience along the banks of the Greenbrier ‌River.

Clifton Presbyterian Church and Ronceverte Presbyterian Church ⁢will co-host a service at 11:00 a.m.at the Ronceverte Island ‌Park Amphitheatre. The joint service aims to foster community⁤ and shared faith, offering a welcoming habitat⁣ for all.

Leading the worship will ⁤be Rev. Stephen Baldwin, Rev. Ron Miller, Doris ‍Ann⁢ taylor, and Shana Bennett. Attendees can expect to sing beloved gospel hymns, including “Down ‍to the River to Pray,” ⁢and hear a message centered on the ‍strength found in ‌unity. the first portion of the ‌service will ‌be inclusive for children, who ‌will then be supervised by adult ⁤leaders ‌at the park’s playground for the remainder of the time.

Parking will be available along the road, with designated ​handicap parking ‌directly beside the amphitheater. Chairs will be provided courtesy‌ of Gillespie’s Flowers & Productions.

The fellowship will continue Sunday evening with a joint picnic at Charlie Mackey Park in Maxwelton. Fried chicken will be provided, and ‍attendees are encouraged to contribute a ‌side dish or dessert to share.
