Ronceverte, WV – Two Greenbrier County churches are joining forces this Sunday for a unique worship experience along the banks of the Greenbrier River.
Clifton Presbyterian Church and Ronceverte Presbyterian Church will co-host a service at 11:00 a.m.at the Ronceverte Island Park Amphitheatre. The joint service aims to foster community and shared faith, offering a welcoming habitat for all.
Leading the worship will be Rev. Stephen Baldwin, Rev. Ron Miller, Doris Ann taylor, and Shana Bennett. Attendees can expect to sing beloved gospel hymns, including “Down to the River to Pray,” and hear a message centered on the strength found in unity. the first portion of the service will be inclusive for children, who will then be supervised by adult leaders at the park’s playground for the remainder of the time.
Parking will be available along the road, with designated handicap parking directly beside the amphitheater. Chairs will be provided courtesy of Gillespie’s Flowers & Productions.
The fellowship will continue Sunday evening with a joint picnic at Charlie Mackey Park in Maxwelton. Fried chicken will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to contribute a side dish or dessert to share.
