The disclosure comes amid ongoing public scrutiny of government officials’ remuneration and aims to provide transparency regarding the financial resources allocated to legislative duties. the total gross compensation for DPR members amounts to Rp74,210,680, but is subject to a 15% income tax deduction of Rp8,614,950, applied specifically to the constitutional allowance portion of their earnings.
The detailed breakdown reveals a basic monthly salary of Rp4,200,000, supplemented by allowances including Rp420,000 for a spouse, Rp168,000 for each child, Rp9,700,000 as a position allowance, and Rp289,680 for rice. Thes “inherent” components total Rp16,777,680.
