Oxfam-Magasins du monde Seeks Intern for Global Citizenship Education
Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium – Oxfam-Magasins du monde is actively recruiting a motivated intern to join its ÉduAction team, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful educational initiatives focused on global citizenship and sustainable practices. The internship, based in Louvain-la-Neuve, will run during either the first or second semester of 2026, with a minimum commitment of eight weeks.
This position arrives at a critical juncture as awareness of fair trade, responsible consumption, and global interconnectedness grows. The intern will play a key role in developing and delivering educational content related to textile production and food systems, directly impacting students and community members. By fostering understanding of thes complex issues, oxfam aims to empower individuals to make informed choices and advocate for a more just and equitable world.
The ÉduAction intern will be responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of educational tools and events, actively participating in team meetings, and contributing to the overall mission of Oxfam-Magasins du monde. Specific tasks include developing workshops on textile and food-related themes, supporting logistical arrangements for events, and contributing to the ongoing development of educational resources.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong ideological alignment with Oxfam’s values, possess proven animation and organizational skills, and exhibit a capacity for both individual initiative and collaborative teamwork.Comfort with public speaking and facilitating discussions with diverse age groups is essential, as is a demonstrated interest in fair trade and global citizenship.
The internship offers a flexible schedule of four or five days per week,with occasional remote work options. Travel expenses incurred during the internship will be reimbursed.
