Kollam Saylers Advance to kerala Cricket League Final After Defeating Thrissur Titans
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kollam Saylers secured their place in teh Kerala Cricket League (KCL) final, defeating thrissur Titans by ten wickets. The Saylers chased down the Titans’ total of 86 runs in 9.5 overs.
The Titans struggled with the bat, all out for 86 in 17.1 overs. key contributors to the titans’ downfall were Amal,Ajay Tomb,Vijay Vijay Swaranath,and Pawan raj. Anand Krishnan top-scored for the Titans with 23 runs.
Kollam Saylers’ Bharat Surya remained unbeaten with 56 runs off 31 balls,including three sixes and seven fours. Abhishek Nair also finished not out, contributing 32 runs with one six and three fours.
Earlier, the Titans’ batting lineup faltered. Ahmad Imran was dismissed for 13, caught after a high ball. Captain Shone Roger was out for 7. A vigorous catch led to the dismissal of Anand Krishna, triggering a collapse.AJA Manohar (6), Aju Paul (5), Sibin Gireesh (6), AK Arjun (6), and Varun Nayanar (4) also fell cheaply.
Amal was named Player of the Match for his bowling performance.
