Britain’s Duchess of Kent has died at age 92, Buckingham Palace announced.
The Duchess, born Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark, was a working member of the royal family known for her dedication to charities and her unassuming nature. Later, it was discovered she had been giving her time and working anonymously as a music teacher at a school in Hull, it seemed typical of her unassuming nature, according to Reuters.Born on March 13, 1932, in Athens, Princess Marina married Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, in 1961. The Duke of Kent died in 1970. She is survived by her three children: George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews; Lady Helen Taylor; and Lord Nicholas Windsor. The Duchess of Kent continued her royal duties for decades,supporting numerous organizations and often appearing alongside other members of the royal family at public engagements.
