New Toll Rates Increase in Venezuela – September 2025

National Tolls ⁢Increase⁢ for ⁣Third ⁤Time this Year

Caracas – Effective‌ September 1st, the Ministry of Transportation has implemented new toll rates ⁤across Venezuela, marking the third increase in 2025. The adjustments impact all vehicle types, from passenger cars to heavy freight trucks, and come ⁣after previous hikes in January and August.

These ⁣escalating costs ⁣directly affect commuters,⁢ businesses relying ‍on transportation, and the national supply chain. The increases‌ aim to address operational costs and infrastructure maintenance, but place an additional financial burden on drivers already navigating economic challenges. Further adjustments are possible depending on economic conditions and ongoing infrastructure needs.

The ‌new toll schedule is ‌as follows:

Light vehicles and minibuses: 80 bolivars
Buses:‌ 120 bolivars
Light load vehicles: 570 ⁣bolivars
Heavy load vehicles (2 axes): 640 bolivars
⁣ Heavy load ‍vehicles ⁢(3 axes): 710 bolivars
Heavy load vehicles (4 axes): 780 bolivars
Heavy load vehicles (5 axes): 910 bolivars
heavy load vehicles (6 axes): 1,140 bolivars

Prior to this latest increase, minimum toll rates stood at 30 bolivars in August, up from ⁣15 bolivars in january.
