Hema Malini Divests of Mumbai Apartments in ₹12.5 Crore Deal
Bollywood veteran and current Member of Parliament, Hema Malini, has recently concluded the sale of two apartments located in Mumbai’s Oshiwara district for a total of ₹12.50 crore, according to property registration documents filed in August 2025. The transaction highlights continued strong demand for premium residential properties in the Andheri West area.The sale of the two flats, situated within the Oberoi Springs complex, provides a snapshot of the current luxury real estate market in Mumbai. The move comes as property values in desirable neighborhoods like Andheri West remain elevated due to connectivity and lifestyle amenities. This transaction may influence pricing trends and investor interest in similar properties within the complex and surrounding areas.
Each apartment encompasses 847 sq ft of carpet area (approximately 79 sq m) with a total built-up area of 94.46 sq m (around 1,017 sq ft). Registration records indicate each unit was sold for ₹6.25 crore, inclusive of dedicated car parking. The transactions incurred a stamp duty of ₹31.25 lakh per flat, alongside ₹30,000 in registration fees.
