Following a‍ period of service in the ​Navy in⁤ California, he established a dental practice in Painesville, Ohio, in 1953, after marrying his first wife, Sarah “Sally” Lamade.

In 1969, Dr. White co-founded the ⁤Painesville Dental‌ Group with Dr. Jerry Patriarca, a practice that continues to thrive today, a testament to his professional dedication and skill.He served as President ⁤of the Ohio Dental association in 1984 ‌and was honored with ‌the Distinguished Dentist Award in⁣ 1989, recognizing his contributions to the field.

Following Sally’s passing⁤ after a ‌valiant ⁣battle with ‍cancer,⁢ Ed found love again with Vicky Pozar in 1991. Together, they enjoyed over 30 years ​of companionship, splitting their time between Ohio and ‍Marco island, Florida, before settling‌ in Fort Myers, Florida ⁢in 2005.

A passionate golfer, Dr. White was a fixture at Madison Country Club⁢ and later Pelican‌ preserve, often playing ⁣several ‍rounds a week.
