Davao City, Philippines – Six graduates from the University of Immaculate Conception-Davao City (UIC-Davao) have distinguished themselves by securing spots in the top 10 of the August 2025 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE). Exceptional Performance by UIC-Davao Graduates
Myles Chaesel Ejara led the pack, achieving first place with an impressive rating of 93.10 percent. Hannah Belle Dave followed closely in second place with 92.70 percent, and Sam allen Uy secured the third spot with a score of 92.60 percent. Joshua David Castronuevo placed fifth (92.20 percent), Rex Valdueza seventh (91.90 percent), and ramon Monching Señor ninth (91.70 percent).

National examination Results and Top Performers
sophia Thereze Niefes of De La Salle Medical & Health Science Institution shared second place with Dave, while John Christian Catahumber of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Uy tied for third. Mathew Lauren Gochuico of Far Eastern University achieved fourth place. Castronuevo, Ernest John Gutierrez of UST, and Marc Juriel Masangkay of the University of san Agustin tied for fifth.
Giliah De Maliwat and Gabriel Macapagal, both from UST, secured sixth place. Laurence Castillo of Cagayan state University-Andrews Campus, Marc Napolle Zhen Miranda of UST, Stephanie Ng of Velez College, and Valdueza shared seventh place. Vincent Masil of UST ranked eighth, and Kobe Kate Liberato of the University of Pangasinan and Señor tied for ninth. Victor Lorenzo Gonzales of the University of Baguio completed the top ten.

Beyond individual achievements, UIC-Davao also ranked ninth among top-performing schools in the August 2025 MTLE, according to Commission Resolution No.1814 series of 2024.The university achieved a remarkable passing rate of 93.33 percent, with 137 out of 150 examinees successfully passing the exam. Moreover, the school demonstrated consistent performance with a 94.37 percent passing rate for first-time takers and 91.33 percent overall.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that a total of 3,660 out of 4,720 examinees passed the MTLE. The examination was administered on August 12-13, 2025, in various locations across the country, including the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
