Puerto ordaz, Venezuela – In a session held today, the Caroní Municipal Chamber was officially installed for the 2025 legislative period, with a Board of Directors elected unanimously by its members. The installation marks a notable consolidation of power for the United Socialist Party of venezuela (PSUV) as all seats within the chamber are now held by party representatives.

The newly sworn-in leadership includes Northis Díaz as President, Roberth Rivas as Vice President, Jesús Vásquez as Secretary, adn Ediwnson Acosta as Undersecretary. José Moreta, head of the PSUV faction within the chamber, will play a key role in guiding the party’s legislative agenda.The session was presided over by Councilor Meurys Lubaton, with Councilor Damelis Herrera serving as Secretary, and was attended by National Assembly deputies Roselys Salazar and Jesús Ortega.
