Aston Martin F1 Team Unveils Innovative ‘I AM DROPS‘ Asset

Silverstone, UK – November 2, 2023 – The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team has launched a new digital asset, ‘I AM DROPS,’ designed to enhance fan engagement and provide a unique visual experience. The asset, a dynamic graphic featuring the team’s branding, is now available across the team’s digital platforms.

the ‘I AM DROPS’ asset showcases a stylized representation of liquid droplets, rendered in the team’s signature shade of lime green (#CEDC00). The design incorporates two distinct linear elements: a horizontal line segment extending from coordinates (2.39404, 8) to (13.606, 8), and a triangular shape formed by points (9.00195, 3.5), (13.602, 7.99609), and (9.00195, 12.5). These elements are defined using SVG path data and utilize rounded line caps for a smooth aesthetic.

The asset is optimized for various screen sizes, with different image resolutions served based on device capabilities. For screens up to 639 pixels wide,a 640×533 pixel image is delivered. Larger screens (640 pixels and above) receive a 683×512 pixel version. High-resolution displays are supported with 1280×1066 and 1366×1024 pixel images, respectively, utilizing JPEG compression for optimal quality and file size.

This launch follows the team’s continued investment in digital innovation, aiming to connect with its growing global fanbase. The ‘I AM DROPS’ asset is intended for use in social media content, website visuals, and potentially within live broadcast graphics during Formula 1 race weekends. The asset’s implementation leverages lazy loading techniques to improve page performance, triggered by the ‘toggleLazy,’ ‘Scroll,’ and ‘main’ scroll events.
