UAE Job Drive: Egypt‘s Ministry of Labor Announces Recruitment for 36 Skilled Workers

Cairo, Egypt – Egypt’s Ministry of Labor has announced a major recruitment drive in collaboration with a United Arab Emirates-based company, offering 36 positions across various engineering and technical fields. Applications open on Tuesday, july 29, 2025, and will be accepted for ten days.

The initiative aims to connect qualified Egyptian workers with opportunities in the UAE, with salaries ranging from 1,500 to 12,000 UAE Dirhams per month – equivalent to approximately 20,000 to 160,000 Egyptian Pounds, depending on the role and experience level. The Emirati company will cover all recruitment costs, including medical insurance and residency permits, and adheres to UAE labor laws with an 8-hour workday.

Available Positions & Requirements:

  • First Planning Engineer (2 positions): 8 years of experience. Salary: 8,000 – 12,000 AED (including housing and transportation).
  • QM Engineer (2 positions): 5 years of experience. Salary: 8,000 – 12,000 AED (including housing and transportation).
  • Quality engineer (QA/QC) (2 positions): 5 years of experience. Salary: 8,000 – 12,000 AED (including housing and transportation).
  • “Fit Out” Engineer (2 positions): 4 years of experience. Salary: 8,000 – 12,000 AED (including housing and transportation).
  • Reading technician (6 positions): 4 years of experience. salary: 1,500 – 1,800 AED (including housing and transportation).
  • Electricity Technician (Operation & Maintenance) (10 positions): 4 years of experience. Salary: 1,500 – 1,800 AED (including housing and transportation).
  • Armed Carpenter (10 positions): 4 years of experience. Salary: 1,500 – 1,800 AED (including housing and transportation).

Interested candidates are instructed to submit their Curriculum Vitae (CV) in PDF format to labour@labour.gov.eg. The Ministry of Labor has not yet disclosed the name of the Emirati company involved in the recruitment process.

The UAE remains a key destination for Egyptian workers seeking employment abroad, particularly in the construction, engineering, and service sectors.The Egyptian government has been actively working to facilitate safe and legal migration pathways for its citizens, ensuring fair labor practices and protecting the rights of Egyptian workers overseas. Recent data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) indicates that remittances from Egyptians working abroad contribute substantially to the Egyptian economy,representing a crucial source of foreign currency.
