MLB The Show 25 Speeds Into New “Speedway Classic” Content

Baseball simulation meets motorsport excitement in MLB The Show 25’s latest content drop, the “MLB Speedway Classic.” This new update immerses players in a unique blend of diamond sports and high-octane racing, offering fresh challenges and coveted rewards.

New Program Features Star Players and Unique Stadium

The MLB Speedway Classic Program is now live, allowing players to tackle fifteen missions. These challenges center around Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds players who participated in the real-life MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol. Successfully completing these missions will unlock exclusive player items, including a 97 OVR Matt McClain, a 98 OVR Spencer Strider, a 98 OVR Chase Burns, and a 99 OVR Ronald Acuna Jr.. A playable Bristol Motor Speedway™ stadium adds another layer of authenticity to the experience.

Race to Victory in the Speedway Classic Event

A special Speedway Classic Event is also available, set under the lights at Bristol. Participants must assemble their squads using players from the Braves, Reds, players born in Tennessee, and those in the Bronze & Below tiers to compete on the virtual oval.

Conquest and Ranked Play Offer Further Challenges

Two new Conquest maps, the MLB Speedway Classic Map and the Umbrella Map, are ready for players to conquer. These maps challenge gamers to strategically capture territories, manage fan bases, and reinforce positions to earn valuable rewards like XP and packs. Meanwhile, Ranked Rating 6 is live for both Solo and Co-Op play. Players can climb the leaderboards to earn divisional rewards and potentially unlock exclusive items like a World Series Choice Pack, featuring either a 99 OVR Milestone Series Clay Buchholz or a 99 OVR Awards Series Larry Walker. Reaching the coveted G.O.A.T. 1000 status in Ranked Ratings will grant access to the Ranked 1000 Choice Pack, containing both a 99 OVR Ranked 1000 Series Clay Buchholz and Larry Walker.

Additionally, the Multiplayer 6 Program – Drop 1 Missions are now available. Completing these missions across various multiplayer modes will reward players with a 98 OVR Finest Series Robb Nen and a 99 OVR Prime Series Robin Yount.
