Castlebar mourns the loss of **Finnuala**, who passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at Mayo University Hospital. Her memory will be cherished by her devoted family and friends.

A Life Richly Lived

Predeceased by her parents, **Martin** and **Cecilia Carney**, **Finnuala** leaves behind a legacy of love. She is survived by her sons, **Darren** and **Gary**, and daughter-in-law **Orla Dalton**. Her brother, **Sean**, and grandchildren, **Jayden**, **Matthew**, **Sophie**, **Hanorah**, and **Olivia**, will deeply miss her.

The community gathered to honor **Finnuala** at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home in Castlebar on Tuesday, July 29. The funeral service took place at St. Aloysius Church in Breaffy on Wednesday, July 30, followed by interment in Breaffy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Irish Wheelchair Association.
