A fire in Nessebar has completely destroyed 22 vehicles and damaged three others. Firefighters successfully saved 24 cars that were also within the affected area.
The blaze, which has now been fully extinguished wiht only minor smoldering remaining, left one witness distraught. “I’m coming and I see that my car was burned. I left it for 25 minutes, I go back and it is gone,” she stated.
Plamen Kolev, head of the nessebar Fire Service, confirmed the extent of the damage. “The most vital thing at the moment is that the fire is completely liquidated. There are only separate smoldering foci on the ground. As for the damage-22 cars were completely destroyed and 3 more damage was caused by high temperature. The good news is that we were able to save 24 cars, which were also in the perimeter,” he said.
