The fallout from a June 29th incident involving a popular YouTuber, accused of sexual acts with minors during a broadcast, is now impacting the gaming, anime, and light novel industries. The controversy escalated when an individual claiming to be affiliated with organized crime appeared on the broadcast and reportedly admitted to engaging in sexual acts with minors.
In response, several creative works have taken action. This includes changes to illustrators and the removal of credits. Notably, Gao, the VTuber responsible for character design, has also announced plans for a visual renewal. Yuki Sakuna,who was in charge of character design for the VTuber,has also reported on the visual renewal policy.
