Face Plant: Portland’s New 100% Plant-Based Burger Joint

Face Plant, a Portland eatery, is making waves with its entirely plant-based menu, offering a familiar yet vegan take on classic comfort food. The resturant, located at 3110 N. Going St., serves up a compelling option for both vegans and omnivores.

A recent tasting highlighted the restaurant’s success in replicating customary flavors and textures. The “Fancy burger,” a signature item, was noted for its striking resemblance to a conventional beef burger, a sentiment echoed by non-vegan tasters. Complementing the burger were the fries, described as perfectly seasoned, and a thick chocolate shake made with a pea milk base.

Face Plant’s operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
