Sydney Radio Ratings: Smooth FM Dominates Mornings as KIIS Breakfast Soars
Sydney’s radio landscape saw significant shifts in the latest survey period,with Smooth FM solidifying its morning stronghold and KIIS FM‘s breakfast duo achieving the largest gains.
Smooth FM’s Ty Frost now commands the morning airwaves with a 13.7 per cent market share. This performance saw 2GB’s Mark Levy experience a decline, dropping 2.5 points to 13 per cent.
Music-focused stations also demonstrated strength during the drive-time slots. Smooth FM’s byron Webb garnered 12.3 per cent, KIIS FM’s ‘Will & Woody‘ secured 11.6 per cent, and Nova’s ‘Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel’ achieved 8.1 per cent.
