Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze jr., who first met on the set of the 1997 horror film “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” recently reunited for the 2025 legacy sequel of the same name. Prinze Jr. reprises his role as Ray Bronson in the new installment, which premiered on Friday.
Jennifer Love Hewitt, who portrayed Julie James in the original film and its 1998 sequel “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer,” also returned for the 2025 version. Gellar, whose character Helen Shivers met her demise in the first movie, made a special appearance in a dream sequence in the latest film.
The 2025 iteration of “I Know what You did Last Summer” was released on June 18.
